Started the trip hunting wild brookies. We fished the Big Poe and found the stream had an abundance. No size but they sure were fun to catch and miss.

This is really a nice stream so as long as the fish were hitting I didn't mind doing this stream a second day.
I didn't find the walking to be easier than Penns though. There are some real ankle breakers in this water.
But the fish are just amazingly beautiful. And, they are not even in their mating colors.
